Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our Tech team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that bring our products to life and make our client’s lives easier. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. For the past year we have started to use Shape Up as our product development methodology, we are quite fond of it as it helps us focus on building the features that matter the most. Our tech stack includes Django, Python, Javascript and HTMX, and we pride ourselves in finding simple solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather and refine software requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Debug and resolve software defects and issues.
- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver software projects on time and within scope.
- Provide technical expertise and support to other team members.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of software development processes.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- +3 years of proven experience in web application development.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (The closer to our stack the better, i.e: Python, Django, Javascript, Htmx.).
- Knowledge of database systems and data modelling.
- Familiarity with software development tools, and version control systems.
- Understanding of software development methodologies, bonus points for Shape Up.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and programming languages.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
